I only partially gutted the thing. It still uses the trigger assembly, batteries, and spring loaded reload pullback. I had to clip out some of the internal braces to fit the Firestorm Lens, but I'm going to be relying on the front of the assembly for the mount. That orange piece you see there at the front is hopefully going to be attached to the rings that go around the front end of the Firestorm Lens. That way the lens arrangement can also easily be removed when the two halves are apart. Usually, I end up gluing/mounting my lens arrangements, but this one will actually be removeable which will make it much easier to keep nice when I'm painting this thing.
