Zook,
Looking good! I find your new project very interesting. You are making progress on this new custom tagger very quickly. Your idea of using this Nerf model as a home for the V-2 Firestorm lens is inspired. A few questions:
1. Do you have a design for the paint scheme? If so, what are your plans.
3. Does the grip on the Firefly fit an adult size hand OK, and how are the over all ergonomics for an adult?
2. Are you leaving the forward portion of the lens tube off? If so, do you anticipate any increase in self hits due to bounce back from objects (leaf, branch, fence post, etc.) that are close and just off center when you fire?
4. How did you align the scope rail and the lens assembly for windage and elevation? Did you use some kind of tooling to insure that both components are on the same plane in each direction?
Do you have a designation for this custom tagger yet?
Looking forward to seeing the completed product.
