My camera guy's camera was out of action for this game, but we're having another game this week since it's Spring Break. I'll try to get some pictures at that one. Until then, you can read about our latest game here!

I can't remember who was on who's team. As you can see, we had a lot of people come out to this game, but I'll try to remeber the details from my end.
Game 1 Summary
The team I was on started on offense and I was slated to go up against FirestormCamo and his brand new V2 Firefly. However, unlike most games, I had the privalage of being on Eleri's team, so I was hoping we'd have an edge on the overall situation. There were a lot of new faces there, but a lot of veterans and returners too.
Eleri and I started towards the western walk going southbound anticipating a sniper attack from the hill from FC. We spotted movement on the hill and opened fire. It was the first time I had used my new Sentry sniper rifle and I was surprised to see my hits landing from 800+ ft. Nevertheless, Eleri and I pinned down a few players trying to make it to good sniper points on that hill while the rest of our team engaged the enemy near the "Ditch of Doom". They put up quite the fight and were able to take out many of the defense team. However, Bob and JT led an attack that pushed them back north and they retreated to the safety that Eleri and I had created on the Western Walk. As Eleri led the survivors of that south towards the fort, Vicki and I laid down some nice sniper cover fire on opponents who were trying to move north on the Eastern Walk. Bob was using my Scope Rifle II and JT was using the FalconStrike so they were able to return fire pretty well. JT forced me back in a flurry of hits and I narrowly escaped, only to be sniped later by FC who finished the job on me. However, Vicki held her own there and after our main forces had taken out the rest of the opponents, she was still standing after being harassed by sniper fire. I was impressed with how well our "newbies" and returners did on our team. Win for 'Zook's side!
Game 2 Summary
We kept the same teams and switched sides, with our team now taking defensive positions against the offense team. Eleri led a large group to the Western Walk to put up a strong defensive barrier while Shawn and I set up a simple yet effective defense for the Eastern walk. We also had "re-enforcements" awaiting our call who were sitting at the fort. Shawn was outfitted with the new CVP-04 Dual Wield set and was hiding behind one of the large trees near the bridge in front of the fort. I was sitting in the brush with my Sentry taking down the offensive line that was charging us. As the attackers learned, it's never a wise idea to charge at a sniper who already has double your range. They were dropping like flies and the ones who managed to survive and sneak into the brush were eliminated by Shawn who spun around the tree to vanquish our foes. What was an 8 person attack on the eastern walk was reduced to nothing in a few short minutes. On the Western side, Eleri was overwhelming the smaller attacking force but was having trouble with FirestormCamo and his V2 FireFly. Ninja Haro and I advanced up the Flank and attempted to do what we could to snipe FC and we eventually drove him back a bit. To try to flank FC's eastern side, I advanced with some defenders to move across the Big Green but he had some attackers there waiting for us who gave us one hell of a time, taking out many of us (including me). However, once FC got taken out by Eleri, Eleri's forces moved north to take out what was left of the attackers in the center. Another win for 'Zook's team!
Game 3 Summary
We changed up teams this time. It was getting dark too and many of the Veterans were excited for a night game again. I was on the attacking side and things looked grim for our team. The defense team had some notable Veterans on their side including Eleri, FirestormCamo, Panzer, Ninja Haro, Sundawg, and Earthquake. Already, I felt like our team would be squashed. We started our attack by sending all of our attackers south on the eastern walk while Bob and I used our rifles to try to take out the snipers that would surely come to the Western Walk. Railk (on the defense team) set up a flashlight pointing north at the Slipzone, like always. This killed me and Bob's night vision but we could see some of the non-stealth players firing from the hill and tried to land some hits. Some kids were riding Razor scooters around the park and they came near us. We summoned them for help and they gladly turned off the light that Railk had set up. Bob and I then advanced quietly over the SLipzone, set up the flashlight facing the hill, and let them have it. We landed several critical hits on their forces embedded in the hill and took a few out too. However, Ninja Haro and some other players came to their aide and overwhelmed both me and Bob. Ninja Haro and I managed to kill eachother while Bob held on a little longer and took 3 more down with him. Our attack had crippled the Defensive line on the western side. Our attackers took care of the rest of it by confusing the veterans of who's team they were on. Caught off guard, FirestormCamo, Eleri at'Xalien and Panzer all fell to them. Our team miraculously won!
Overall
What a great way to start off the season! Nice weather, good mix of veterans and newbies, as well as some soon-to-be-veteran returners from other games we held in the fall. If this keeps up, Seaon 4 looks to be very promising!
'Zook
