Though I'm not versed in the LTTO Products much, I have extensive experience with the Longshot as far as mods go and I must say, you'll get that same "Colonial Marines" feel that the LTX mod you mentioned showed. Its a nice beefy rifle casing but also has a big enough barrels to fit a good set of lenses in there for laser tag.

I have modded two (currently working on a third) Longshots for laser tag using the Laser Challenge system, but I'm certain that the methods in doing what you'll do will be similar, so fire away with questions regarding the recasing process. LTTO has a few more buttons and such than LC, so placement for all this will be something I haven't had to worry so much about, but yeah. Ask away with questions.

As far as the Longshot itself goes... what are you planning on using from it? Just the front half? The full 3ft + design? Using the clip system somehow? A scope better than that 1x piece of crap that the Longshot came with perhaps?
