It's my first post here.
Saw starbeamers's G36 mod this week, it's the same pic which David mentioned. And those beautiful Nerf/LC mod from Bazookafied also inspired me, so I've decided to mod my LTX.
I started this weekend and finished most of the sawing and cutting. The G36 is Double Eagle MK49 (the G36 model), cost around $25~30 online, and pretty easy to strip and gut out inner casing.
Right now I've cut the stock, and installed forward accessory rails and flash hider, I'm hoping the slightly narrowed barrel by the flash hider will be handicap enough to compensate the sensor obstruction by the top rail.
