One of our players "Ninja Haro" managed to use the LCX for all of Monday's games on June 8th and did quite well with it. He notes that the shotblast, although it still only lands 1 hit on LC vests, is especially effective at close range with it's impressive spread. The Ammo lights are still too bright for night games, as Ninja Haro lit up like a Christmas tree during our last full night game.
Interestingly enough, the LCX, Brandon's TMB, and Sundawg's Radar Extreme Vest have been the center of attention when picking teams. Veterans recognize that Sundawg's vest can't be hit by either the LCX or Brandon's TMB. Ninja Haro (using the LCX) also was wearing a Radar Extreme vest to make himself immune from self-hits. With that, team combinations splitting the three of them up in different ways made things tricky.
For instance, in the final game, Brandon and I were on a team (with about 10 others) and Ninja Haro and Sundawg were on the other. Both of their vests are immune from the TMB's shots and they just so happened to attack the point that Brandon and I were covering. Brandon switched to his LC Sidearm but it was my weaopn that mainly dealt the two RE Vest users some damage and ultimately took them out.
Still, the RE Immunity from the TMB and LCX is getting interesting for gameplay. We're working with the LCX and TMB's disability to hit the RE vest in interesting ways.
