Zook,
I have enjoyed viewing the recent images from the OLCA events. It is great seeing the modded taggers in action and how much fun everyone seems to be having. I have also followed your recent posts here on the compatibility between Hasbro Lazer Tag products and Laser Challenge products with great interest. This new knowledge opens up many possibilities for the CTDYNE group. Perhaps some of the custom LTTO gear on the CTDYNE website can now be used at CTDYNE V-2 events!
It appears that the guy who is using the TMB at these night time OLCA Laser Challenge events always has the missile in his tagger. Does the TMB missile work with V-2 gear. If so, does it do so reliably? Does it react the same way with all Laser Challenge products?
With the new found knowledge on compatibility between LTTO, LTX and Laser Challenge products, is there any way you can post a compatibility chart showing how all three LTTO models and the LTX work with the different types of LC gear? Including data like which functions on Hasbro models reset the various LC products, does the LTX shot blast function work the same on all LC gear, and what effects LC gear, if any, has on the various Hasbro models?
I know the OLCA uses a mix of LC gear, I am mainly interested in the compatibility between all Hasbro gear and V-2 gear, but others may find this type of info useful for the various LC models besides V-2 gear.
I would also like to know how the various Hasbro models perform against V-2 targets. Does the TMB always have more range? Is it more difficult to tag closer targets that are in motion with the TMB?
It would also be useful if you could include what mods must be done to the Hasbro models to insure full compatibility With V-2/LC. Things like disabling the beacon and why this is necessary. I don't have access to the later LC gear so I cannot perform this testing.
I know this is a tall order and I understand if you don't have time for this type of thing right now.
