I still think it's interesting to note that regardless of how "Lazy" LC seems to be when it comes to registering IR beams, that it consistantly registers them as a "Hit" and not a "Reset" or "Max Blast" or what-have-you.
As far as the sun-hit information you provided, I'd like to back that up a bit more. On Tuesday, I decided to go through the Armory's vests to check for bad batteries by spreading them all out and having them turned on for awhile. Since theres no indication as to when a LC Vest is turned off, even if the vest has enough power to turn on, it might not have enough power to sustain that and eventually turn itself off. Thus, to truely check how the batteries are in the gear, you have to leave them on for a bit and see which vests are still working. I did this outside during the day and, of course, some of the vests started going off. Actually, over time, some of the vests were actually KILLED by the sun (So we should build a LC sniper rifle out of whatever the sun has! That range is incredible! lol) However, I noted that the only sensors not going off every now and then were Radar Extreme vests. Both Laser Challenge Team Force and Laser Challenge V2 were taking hits every now and then. I think this further backs up the fact that Radar Extreme systems are more picky/have better filtering than their earlier relatives.
