Actually, I still think we have a couple more years out of our "founding fathers". The OLCA started off with myself, Brandon, Jeff, Kyle, Mikey, Danny, and Brad. The only one who has sort of fallen off the roster has been Danny, who now is more into Airsoft, but still makes it out to games sometimes. The rest of us have been pretty faithful to the sport.
But yes, the tug of time is starting to show on us, with college and grad school ending soon for many of us, real life will happen quickly. However, as you've noted, we seem to have a "new breed" of veterans emerging. Many of them have built their summer schedules around laser tag, making it out to every game and honing their skills quickly.
Not sure what the future holds, but at this rate, we'll give another decade or two of use to this ancient gear!
