Just to give everyone a heads up on Tagfest 2010.
Location: Trials Country Park, Eugene, OR
Dates: 16th-20th with the 16th mainly being a setup day & the 20th being mainly teardown.
Additions:
-There will be one light LARP game.
- We will set aside a specific afternoon or evening for people to setup and show their creations and or swap gear (although you can swap and show & tell at any time).
- Onsite Camping WILL be allowed with either Tents or RVs (yes you lightweights can still go snuggle up in a motel/hotel each evening).
- We are still checking into details, but are working with ClearWire to set up onsite ability to connect up to the web, and might be doing some live webstreaming for the event.
- If the fire safety rating is low enough, we will have a nightly campfire circle at the middle of camp.
- Budget Allowing, we will have a bit of lighting on the fields for night games.
- We are adding a few more buildings to the village area, and possibly a witches hut between the fort and the village with a simulated tombstone graveyard surrounding it as a new playing area (have to clear this with land owner first).
- There will be a 5 person team elimination tournament with a trophy prize on one of the nights (There will be an entry fee to cover the cost of the prizes).
- Finally, we will be holding Monthly chat session meetings as well as have a specific posting forum for organizing the event starting November 2009.
