Thanks for the suggestions guys. I suppose a booster like djdrthq suggested would be neat, but actually I think the earphone thing is a little more feasible. Only problem is that I already use a headset for my radio, so I'd either have two things in my ear or I'd have to figure out how to integrate the speaker for the vest into the headset's speaker/speaker housing.
After reading Mr. Falto's blurb on speakers and teammates, I tend to agree with the points made. If my team mates are waiting for the sensor alarm sound to indicate that one of their own took a hit, human nature is going to force them to look to see who got hit. By yelling "hit" initially to alert them, and subsequently as I take hits and announce them as I see fit. For instance, when we're searching for enemies and I take a hit, I'd announce it and and from there if there's a long pause in me getting hit, I'd probably announce it again. Whereas if I were getting hit repeatedly, I probably wouldn't bother to announce every hit as I take them. Yelling "Hit" consecutively 5 or 6 times just seems silly!
Well, I suppose at this point, which option is best to go with? And from there, some advice on their construction would be appreciated too.
