Hello John,
I actually had the lens used in the ECM manufactured to my specifications for size, shape and materials used. It was quite expensive. I won't say how expensive but, you could buy a pair of LTX taggers, and then some, for what this one lens cost me. It may sound a little extreme, but the driving concept behind any CTDYNE project is:
"RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TODAY FOR BETTER TAGGING TOMORROW"
Many timed this means thinking out of the box. Sometimes this results in a new and improved design and sometimes we just let the smoke out and start over. In the case of this lens, I will have to wait until the ECM is field tested to be sure just how effective it is in actual use.
