Yes, it is the same Matt, as in Matt's LC PRO. He is also featured on the players page of the CTDYNE website. His LC PRO is being retired. It is just too cumbersome and complicated. For some time now Matt has been designing a new, easier to handle and lighter V-2 custom Tagger. The P-90 housing was his idea. As was the special two inch lens configuration and three LED array. His motivation was to come up with something to use against his little sisters new tagger - the DRAGONFLY. He is concerned she will be unstoppable with her latest custom, so this new tagger is an effort on Matt's part to bring an Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) to bear against his Sister's Dragonfly.
The ECM is using a brand new, fresh out of the box, V-2 set. We are pulling out all the stops on this project. I had to dig deep into our stash of unopened V-2 gear for this one. This is one of the few sets I have left that I purchased new from Toys-R-Us back in the mid 1990's.
Here are some images of Matt opening up this V-2 set for the first time. This box still had the original tape on both ends. I know it seems odd to document this occasion, but it is not every day that we get to open brand new V-2 gear ay CTDYNE.
