That setup looks nice. Lazer Tag is a great way to get some exercise in, just hold more games and you'll be in better shape in no time
As to the kneepads, do those camo pants have the internal kneepad pocket? The 5.11 Tactical Series pant has a nice inner pocket which you can put neoprene foam inserts into to function as a soft kneepad, allowing you to retain your flexibility without worrying about dropping to a knee to quickly sight in on an opponent. I find they work great for anything short of dropping hard onto concrete, including gravel, downed trees, etc...
Here's a couple reference links for you:

Of course, 5.11 doesn't do camo, but if you're good with a needle or have a sewing machine, you could add your own inner pocket for these pads.
As to the gloves, I am currently contemplating getting a pair of BlackHawk S.O.L.A.G. w/ Kevlar, but I tend to like to climb in my games, and the kevlar and other benefits of those gloves might be overkill in someone else's case.

By the way, I don't give any extra recommendation to US Cavalry other than great customer service, their products are the same quality as any other surplus seller out there. However, it is generally easy to find coupons for them at retalmenot. I would try to wait for a 15% off coupon to pop up before jumping on an order (there should be one soon considering the approach of veteran's day)
Enjoy your setup, and let us know more about what you do with that MOLLE rig, I am guessing you have plenty in store for that.
