I'm a bit confused with what exactly you're doing... hooking up LC systems to a car?
Also, why are you looking to replace the IR Leds in them? The power going to them does not make a difference between Max Blast and Regular shots. Max Blasts are registered because it's a different signal that the weapon sends out, not due to increased power. Because the Laser Challenge V2 boards are custom chips, you cannot change the ammo count settings that they're already programmed for (to my knowledge). I'm not sure what you mean by "older v2 taggers" and changing their count to 25. All V2 weapons, the tagger, the Ultrawide Blaster, and the Firestorm, have 25 shots in them. Other weapons like the Radar Extreme pistols and the Ex-D Super Laser also have 25 rounds. Perhaps you mean 'Older v2' as in systems older than V2? The only system that predates V2 is Laser Challenge Team Force. I affectionately refer to them as V1. They look like this.
Some more detail on what you're actually trying to accomplish would be nice too. Perhaps some pictures?
