Mike,
A lens arrangement in my favorite weapon of all time fabricated by Mike Yates of CTDYNE? My heart just skipped a beat! Even though the Pulse Rifle is going well, I can't help but think that having a solid lens arrangement construction would be one less thing I need to tinker with.
Down the line, I forsee continued work and changes to the Pulse Rifle, but I don't expect to ever have to change the general aesthetics of the weapon/switch the lens assembly. My current methods of fabricating custom weapons are getting better, but I find myself having to revisit certain parts from time to time. Even though my current lens arrangement would work, It's likely I would need to go back and "fix" something on it later again. I have confidence that a lens arrangement built at the hands of CTDYNE would never need to be replaced or worked on again.
Do you have time in your busy schedule to tackle this project currently? If now is not a good time, I'd be more than willing to wait to send the parts until a better time can be secured. I have no problems with not being able to use the Pulse Rifle for awhile if it is because of recieving a service like this. I know the wait will be well worth it.
