Today I recieved the completed M41A Optics from Mike Yates. Neatly packed in an NC-Star box, complete with a business card for CTDYNE. If I ever make a case for this weapon, that card is getting framed in there!
Anyways, it's here and unfortunately, the Pulse Rifle is in no condition to test it out. I might do some tests with just the lens with Sundawg via his Night Vision camera to compare it up against other lenses just to see how it focuses/works. I assume it'll be very similar to how it was before, but the fact that it's mounted more accurately, thanks to Mike Yate's efforts, I am expecting it to be ever-so-slightly refined.
That and I'm just curious if the slight melting problem he had with the black cone caused any problems. If so, I can manage to sacrifice an LTS to fix it, but I don't expect problems with it.
