This site has been set up by a fan, for fans of the activity known as home style "lazertag" (non-commericial arena). It's purpose is to highlight players, games, add-ons, modifications, etc., regardless of the system that they use, for the benefit of other fans.

Collecting Questions about Battle Tag

I will only be getting one starter set before Christmas (trying to keep things off the credit card) but we can still get a lot of questions answered. Add you questions to this list. Here are some of the things I want to know:

Is the sensor vest modular? There is a photo that shows the cord ending in some sort of plug.
How well does it work in sunlight?
What is the IR Carrier frequency?
Can we replace the sensor vest with headbands/gun only/etc. . .
Can we order replacements for the Sensor vest when damaged?
What happens when you go out of RF Range of the UBIConnect(TM)? Does the tagger record actions and upload when back in range?
Does the UbiConnect(TM) tell the taggers to shut down or is this internal programming?
Which actions does the UbiConnect(TM) control and which are the taggers?
Does the game stop if the UbiConnect(TM) is unplugged? Does it make a difference if it is kept powered?
Can the range on the UbiConnect(TM) be extended?

I am assuming it will be fun (I like every kind of outdoor laser tag that I have tried), but I will include my impressions of playabilty and ease of use, as well.
