I had 20 guns 16 lotto and 4 LTX. As soon as I read about battle tag I sold all of my lotto guns. I still have the 4 LTX guns.
As soon as I get a chance to play around with the new set I will decide what I want to play with. I like the FPS style of the Ubisoft BT, and it seems more focused on the type of games are group wants to play.
I am really excited about the potential. Then again I still have some reservations about it. The cold reception from E3 and all of the troll comments early on really has me worried. If it gets to much bad press Ubisoft may just dump the entire project. I do understand that it was shown at the wrong convention. (E3) If it does work out and they do actively support the game (game updates, new gear, active community) I will switch over to all BT gear.
If BT does tank, I may just wait to see what happens to the LTX line. I really love the tagger style! I cant say that enough. every time we played everyone wanted an LTX w/shotgun. That being said I'm kinda disappointed on how the LTX just dissipated. It was all set up for some cool expansions, and poof now you cant find one anywhere. Well I read something by TagFerret a while back and he said the Lazer tag market seems to run in waves, it has a huge demand then it just dries up over night. I hope we are on the verge of another big wave soon. Instead of a long dry spell.
We play up by Lake Forest Park. When the weather is nicer we can see if we can get a game together at either location.
