Hi there I'm in the same situation as Tomi,
I know the system cant be buy on the ubishop but i found Canadians shop who still sell it.
Even it likeky to be axed I've searched to get my hand on a battle tag since February and still want to!!
Like i said on the Battletag official forum;" if its discontinued they should make it open source!"
I have some basic knowledge in electronic and have friend engineer.
If you are still interested tomi,i don't think you need to buy a Us laptop;
for the software location;to resolve that
"Hotspot Shield" will certainly do the trick!
