Yes it was a great weekend and I am still in lots of pain. Bugs bites all over. I am glad the Mitch and Mike made it as they are the first of SLT besides myself to make it to the woods. Hopefully I can get a few more bodies there next time. A big thanks toi Brian for cmoing up. He is a great guy and a true tagger!!! He even got his Wife and Momo to play a game!!!

OK here is my review of the gear.
The gun itself gets a C. Too small for my hands and no site. Too many buttons.
The electronics get an A. The sensor was great in the sunlight and the range of the gun is better than ESS gear. This was hard to find out because of no sites on the gun!!! I had no problems with the sensor being mounted on the gun. It made for a new way of playing. Less head to head action and a lot of flanking players that where engaging other targets. That is how I got James twice. A head sensor would be nice but for just tag out of the box it worked great.

So the 3 big flaws I think everyone had with the gun are hard to set up hosted games. No site(I had a scope that I did not even site in and it help just to get the gun pointed the right way) made the gun hard to use. The sound FX where overwhelming. It was hard to know what was going on like am I hitting or was that a hit or what is that noise? oh I am out of ammo!

The future of tag gear that you can buy in stores can be influenced by US!!! ESS gear is great but it is old and out of production. It is also limited in what you can do with it. I think we can push for something like ESS but with LTTO tech and I know Brian is behind this idea. Hope to see what the drone can do in 2005
