This site has been set up by a fan, for fans of the activity known as home style "lazertag" (non-commericial arena). It's purpose is to highlight players, games, add-ons, modifications, etc., regardless of the system that they use, for the benefit of other fans. Did you guys get to play with the drone guns enough to see how they compare to ESS?
RE: Gun size and shape I have smaller hands than average, and the gun seems fine to me. I have always preferred the balance of the Shoot the Moon guns to the Laser Challenge stuff - someone at STM uses real guns and you can feel the difference.
RE: Sights Walmart in my area has a weaver rail and two 1" rings on sale for $10 per set. I think this would be a good "quick sight"
RE: Timed out I thought I recalled the gun giving a 10 second warning before it timed out, but I may have dreamed it (No really, I dream about playing Lazer Tag . Playing against a 7 year old means that doesn't come up often, though. It is very hard to "accidentally" hit the button combination to shut your gun off.
As entry level gear, this stuff is VERY good. Still working on the headset issue, too.
