I would really like to see external sensors (or perhaps more correctly additional sensors, the tagger sensor is external). So I started out looking at the numbers and quickly came up with 36 - one for each tagger. If TagParty continues to grow that could easily double or triple - I thought. I then started thinking about do I need more than 1 per tagger? Would it be a head sensor, chest, chest and back sensors etc. So I went back to some earlier research work done while putting TagParty together and come to a surprising decision; I don't need any additional sensors!!! I have now posted a webpage on the tagparty.net site that I had initially left off, it helps explain this decision. If you consider the beam profile, then apart from a back sensor, I am well served with the Tagger sensor and the reflective gear used at our TagPartys'. http://www.tagparty.net/tagsensors.html http://www.tagparty.net/ir_reflective.html So while the want for additional sensors is there, I am not sure that the need is, from a TagParty perspective.
