As Flux said you can just hook the photodiodes up to the thunderport. Andy and I will be working on a headband with 2 or 3 sensors on it (maybe red LEDs for hit detection too). The 2 sensor design is the simplest because you don't need any special electronic components. The 3 sensor design would decrease the range too much or maybe won't even work, so something more complex than just hooking up photodiodes will be needed. THat is Andy's job to figure out. If you could get everyone in your club to open up the guns, clip out 2 of the photodiodes under the dome leaving the one facing forward, then put those on a headband you don't have to buy any. Someone already posted the part number of the photodiodes you need. It's in one of Builty's posts for sure. I am going to order about 50 of them (I think they were under 50 cents at mouser, I can check later). If you clip two out leaving one, then add 2-3 to a headband, then you won't lose any range. At least it's not noticable when I tried it. The reason you want 3 on the headband though is because head on you get max. range, but from the side the range I got was about 1/2 of max. I don't know the "shape" of the detection zone, but it's not as good on the sides. 3 on a headband would help keep the range very similar to stock LTTO.
