One thing you can try is Pepcid A/C 10 mg. Our Wheaten has been diagnosed with glomerular disease. It's a kidney disease but it also affects her stomach. In fact, we just went through an episode with her the other night where she threw up a little and then had dry heaves for several hours. She stood by the back door because she wanted to go outside and eat...grass. Our vet also put her on a 7 day medicine called, Sucralfate. Pepcid A/C helps tremendously.
: I really haven't found out anything. I
: changed his food. I stopped letting him
: have rawhides. He still has this problem,
: but it's not everyday anymore. He seems to
: have an upset stomach alot. Eating grass
: and when he can't get enough grass he eats
: is fur. Then he'll vomit up his fur in hugh
: clumps. His vet just suggest changing his
: food and we have done this several times
: now. We will just keep trying. Thanks

: My baby is about a year old and for the past
: few days, what has been an occasional
: problem seems to be a daily problem. Do
: these dogs have a problem digesting food?
: My dog is vomiting daily. Not all day long
: just early morning or during the night. It
: seems to have hair and food mixed up in it.
: It is almost like he can swallow well or
: something. Any help would greatly
: appreciated.
