Did you ever find the cause of the red discoloration? I have a dog who has developed red on his nails, starting from the base and working out as the nails grow and I tend his nails regularly and know this was not how they were before. His feet, under his white hair, are starting to take on a pink sheen because of this discoloration. No one has been able to tell me what is going on. If you have found out the cause, I would GREATLY appreciate if you would share it with me, as I am concerned with his health, if there is a problem. Thank you kindly.
