Well for your information Pitbulls do not deserve to die. Your german shepherd can have the tendency to attack other animals and people too. You just answered your own ignorance *the owner* is at fault for the dogs behavior not the dog itself. YES, pitbulls are misunderstood. They are smarter and more trainable than most breeds. DO NOT judge a breed by the ignorance of media hype and owners who do not train their animals. Since you have never owned one you will NEVER know their truth worth and passion. Do not speak on things you know absolutely nothing about!!!
