Pug is constanly licking the other dog's ears

My two year old Pug Boy is always licking my Boston Terriers ears. He has even got them to lick his ears. I can't stand it and it seems my older Boston is having lots of ear infections. Could this be the cause?
Any feedback will be most helpful. Pug Boys is the sweetest thing in the world but this ear licking is grossing me out. He is constantly wanting to do this like it is a game.
