On July 14,2009 I found a lifeless 9 month old female German Shepard on the shoulder of the freeway. She was emaciated, severely dehydrated, and had a severely broken leg due to being hit by a car. I took her to the vet where she underwent an extensive 5 hour surgery to repair her leg. She is still currently on bed rest at the vets office. The plan is to get her well and healthy so she can be adopted out to a safe and forever home. But I really need your help. Her vet bill came out to $4400.00. And as a parent and sole provider of a hearing impaired daughter and severely disabled grandchild, I cannot afford it. If there is anybody out there who can find it in there hearts to help, it will be deeply deeply appreciated. I believe this girl deserves a chance at life!!!! If you would like to donate to her rescue fund please refer to the following information: Her nickname is "FREEWAY", and she has her own seperate rescue account set up for her at her vets office so all donations go directly there. Please refer to account # R9417 at UPLAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL
