: Maggie is a 2 1/2 year old Wheaten who seems
: to be very healthy; however, about every 4-6
: weeks she has a gagging "episode."
: We have taken her to 2 different vets, done
: every test except scoping. We don't know
: the cause of these episdoes. She seems to
: be very afraid when it happens. Usually
: lasts about 2-3 days. Does this sound
: familiar to anyone?

My wheaten does this too, but usually a result of her eating something she shouldnt. Like, yarn, plastic bags, newspaper, grass, sticks, etc. We try to keep everything picked up, but she invariably finds sonething strange to eat, resulting in vomiting or it coming out the other end, causing her much discomfort. Vet even did exploratory surgery, finding nothing, she had already passed whatever it was. Costing $675.00. Otherwise she is a wonderful little dog, but I am at a loss as to why she does this. Have you had an experience like this?
