She will dig if you have moles (my relative had moles and she dug a lot but she never digs here) so digging needs to not bother you. Obviously I would like her to be in a home that will take great care of her and will make sure she stays up to date on her vaccinations and care. She is a great dog that deserves the chance to have a great life. Thanks,

We found a wonderful black lab mix female a few months back. We took her in because when we saw her it was obvious she had a broken leg. We took her to one of our vets and found out that her break was an old one. She was later taken to LSU to have them look at her. They said the break was consistent with a dog that jumped from the back of a moving pick-up truck. Everyone involved said that probably the best option was to just leave the leg like it was unless it seemed to cause her great pain because the only surgical fix is very expensive and would require approximately two moths of crate rest afterwards. We found her a home with a relative but due to an incident with another dog the relative owned we had to take her back. We already have 6 other dogs and just can not keep her. Due to past experiences I have to say that I think she would do best as an only dog. She has never shown aggression towards people, children, cats, horses, or for that matter even deer. In fact when she was boarded at the vet clinic they kept an orphaned baby deer in the same pen with her. She does love to tree racoons and possums though. When she was at the vet clinic she was a favorite of everybody that worked there. She is a very sweet dog who loves the outdoors but loves being an inside dog too. She has never had an accident in the house. She is located in Mississippi but we would be willing to deliver her to a good home. References are required because I do not want to put her into a bad position. She is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm free, and parasite free. We had her spayed shortly after finding her. If you have any questions about her please email me at chocosdilemma@gmail.com or JuneBuggandMe@yahoo.com If you have any ideas about how to find her a good home please let me know. We are desperate to find her a great one.
