Just last week one went ballistic on my gentle 6 month old German Shepherd who had made the mistake of attempting to greet the monster. It turned into the Tasmanian Devil, scaring my dog to death and with no prior warning or indications which is no surprise since this is what they are bred to do--attack with no warning. I'm lucky my dog was unscathed. And all this happened as the idiot owner was explaining how they were a "misunderstood" breed. Gimma break!
