Took my N scale Cleveland, Mankato & Eastern (featured in the Nov. 1998 NMRA Bulletin) to the Lakes Area Model Railroad Club's show at the old high school in Glenwood, Minn., on Sept. 25, 2004. Nice little show. Seven layouts in N, HO, three-rail and Lego, plus about 9 flea market tables. The club has a big HO and big N layouts in the basement of the school (former girls' lockerroom). Attendance was light, but saw a lot of friends and made several new ones in the LAMR. They are interested in learning more about NMRA and the Thousand Lakes Region and its divisions so I plan to go to one of their upcoming Monday night meetings to give a presentation.
