LLRC members:
Just a reminder that the annual meeting and first meeting of the 2001-2002 modeling session is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 13, at the Hutchinson Leader, 36 Washington Ave. W., (use the back door). The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in model railroading or railfanning, but only those who belong both the the LLRC and NMRA will be allowed to vote or hold office in the annual election.
Terry Davis plans to show a 7-minute video on a trip to the "End-O-The Line" museum in Currie with the MRVD members last month. This could be a good spot to have our summer picnic in 2002.
Final details of the Oct. 13 model railroad show at the fairgrounds in Hutchinson also will be discussed, as will the possible display of the HO layout at the Great American Train Show in St. Paul Sept. 29-30 or at GATS in Shakopee at Canterbury Park on Nov. 10-11.
