Dear LLRC members
The next three-rail layout work session is Sept. 25 at Stan Koci's. The next HO layout work session is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the Hutchinson Leader. We may break down the HO layout for transport to the show site on Thur. Oct. 11. We will need a crew of members with pickups on Friday, Oct. 12, to move both layouts to the fairgrounds for the Oct. 13 show at the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. Also, received word last week that Parties Plus, our lone hobby outlet in Hutchinson, may close Sept. 30 over a competition clause in Hallmark's contract at Hutchinson Mall. Also, R & R Hobbies in St. Cloud has closed. The only hobby shops still offering our club members a 10 percent discount are the two Hub Hobbys in Richfield and Little Canada.
The next LLRC monthly meeting is 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Stan Koci's in Hutchinson.
