Bruce's meeting is May 16 Also, May was the deadline I set for having sessions on the layout while at the Leader. It was to have a new home after that, and Bruce has a great lead on a new site that he is working on and may have word on it by the time of his meeting. If it works out, it would be much more readily available for members to operate and work on it nearly any time they want.
Dear LLRC members:
The last HO scale operating session only attracted four members. We had a great time, but we could use more "train crews". You all missed out seeing my Milwaukee Road "Erie-built" Alco do a header off of the layout to a "smashing finish" on the concrete floor. It appears the railroad will repair it instead of scrapping it out. It does need one new geared wheel set, a new front truck and one truck side frame.
Let me know what you think of May 8.
