To LLRC members and others:
Luce Line Railroad Club Inc. intends to take its three-rail O scale layout, and Stan Koci's American Flyer layout, from its home at Hutchinson Mall for a pair of upcoming weekend showings outside of Hutchinson. The first is June 28-29, 2003, at St. James, Minn.'s Railroad Days, and the Cosmos, Minn., Space Festival July 19-20, 2003. Members are urged to volunteer to help move the layouts and staff them during the shows. The public is welcome to visit us at these community events.
Also remember, the LLRC's 9th Hutchinson Model Railroad Show is scheduled for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. We attract more than a dozen layouts in many scales, at least 50 flea market tables, a model contest and clinics. Admission is only $3 for people 13 and older. Children 12 and younger are free.
