Just a reminder to all LLRC members and any others reading this, the club will again host its Spring Rail Fest 2004, May 1-2, 2004, at the Hutchinson Mall, 1060 State Hwy. 15. S., in Hutchinson, Minn. Like last year's show, we are putting on this show as part of our rental agreement with the Hutchinson Mall in lieu of a rent increase for 2004. The show will again feature not only the club's own HO, American Flyer and three-rail O layouts, but other layouts in N, HO and O scale will be invited. Also featured will be a small flea market of 20-25 tables of vendors selling model railroad equipment, railroadiana, collectibles, and railroad books and videos. Admission is free. The show is open 10 a.m.to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 1, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 2.
LLRC members are urged to help set up the show tables on Friday, April 30, after the mall's 9 p.m. closing time. Members are also needed to help both days of the show and with teardown after 5 p.m. Sunday, May 2.
