There is no better way to see this gorgeous country than from the back of a safe, smooth and willing horse…a great trail friend…just like Deacon‘s Mingo! Deacon is an incredible family trail horse, handsome & friendly...this guy is calm and easy, excellent ground & saddle manners, responds to voice commands, naturally gaited...very easy to ride! He is an awesome family horse - he loves people and attention! He has a fantastic “happy” disposition…really seems to enjoy going out to ride…a joy to be around! He makes a novice feel like a pro! He is NOT spooky and goes where you point his nose. This amazing 15.2h (and growing…should finish around 16h), jet black & white beauty has miles of experience to his credit. He rides alone or with a crowd...out front, in the middle, or happily bringing up the rear...he does not care. He is content to walk along all day if desired…a great confidence building horse for a timid type rider! He has a soft and responsive mouth and wonderful willing nature…just ask him and he will give you 110% every time! Notice that he does not even require a bit to ride or gait, as he rides equally well in a bitless bridle as shown in most photos! He loves people and attention - suitable for a timid beginner and up! He is super sweet and very people oriented and will meet you at the gate for a great day on the trails. His sweet personality wins every heart! He is smooth and calm on the trails - will go ANYWHERE you point him, NOT spooky. Leave him in the pasture for a week or two and he will be the same reliable fella next time you ride - he is an honest and safe trail mount - a willing trail partner…a real buddy type - a loving family member! He possesses those rare and wonderful traits for a great FAMILY horse…kind eye, gentle & loving disposition, and a big desire to please! Everyone loves to be around him. Stands still to mount and dismount. Loads/Unloads and trailers well. Ties, clips, grooms, and bathes, stands for the farrier.
