Hi Paul,
did you purchase her from Norfolk and does she have a yellow and white cabin? If so, I knew an earlier owner.
On the Lysander I owned many years ago, the plywood transom was glued and screwed to a 3 x 1 framework. The ply had delaminated so I cut as much out as possible then removed old screws and chiselled the remaining ply off the frame. It was then a simple job to trace the new ply for the transom straight off the boat.
