Iv'e just bought a 4 horse mercury engine and Iv'e got to replace the empeller do I have to lubrecate it with anthing prior to rebuilding the pump, as I think I may have damaged the original empeller by starting it on dry land (without water)so its going to be dry when I first start it (in water)?
