Here's some hard won experience. First, make sure you can stretch out when sleeping, second arrange your galley and equipment in easy reach when sat down, third fit curtains for privacy and to prevent being woken too early by sunlight, fourth a folded duvet is much easier to get in and out of than a sleeping bag, fifth a boom tent is a must for overnighting as it gives room for spare gear, wet gear and the porta potti.Fifth pad your cabin beams with pipe wrap or similar to lessen bumps and knocks.
