Hi Richard,
if you are referring to the stuff that expands slightly when it sets then I have used it extensively in the restoring of my thirty foot yacht, and it is excellent stuff. I found it best to let it set and any excess can then be cleaned off with a sharp chisel. I bought mine through Screwfix.
