Hi Richard,
in the same vein, I remember a rep talking to the founder of B&Q, then telling his company not to bother dealing with them as they won't come to anything!!
Forgot to mention about the glue, its best to dampen the surface with a little water before applying the glue, and make sure you have plenty of clamps to hold the bits together whilst the glue sets!
