Hi Joe,
Many thanks for your remarks on my post. I have been reading and enjoying your pictures and website for a while.
It's really been fun rebuilding Amity. The main reason was really to get my health back after my operation last year and I knew I needed to get in the sun a little.
I hope you like my article in the magazine which should come I think in October. I will be following up again because like you I am now in the water but because of my health cannott sail alone and rely on a crew in case of problems, especially as I have never sailed before this.
I have been out sailing now with Amity twice and once only with all sail up and I hope soon to get some pictures of Amity under sail, but as I havn't taken any yet I will have to wait. My main problem in Shetland is the weather and in 2 weeks or so it will be time to find a safe haven for my little boat.
I hope to see a lot more of your articles in the newsletter and on the web.
