I have never heard anything positive said about Bud while at the arena for games and tom seems to be the only one supporting Bud, and by the way Buds past mediocre record (other than 01/02 season) in Barrie DOES MATTER as GM/Coach and you should read what some fans and media have said about him while he coached there. Why hasn't Bud lasted as long as Brian Kilrea if is that good? He would still be in Barrie right now, correct ?. The Donati trade was a good one yes, but this year we have not seen any decent or spectacular trades. The other problem is the lack of younger players being developed for the future. Next season we will have a huge turnover of Overagers because we currently carry too many 19y/o right now. Its ok to carry to many 19y/o but the team should be developing more younger players to step up when the veteran players are gone. I would not underestimate St Mike's fan base. With 1300 fans at last game, and decent viewer numbers on Rogers, It is insulting to assume the fan base is very very small. Of course the attendance would be much higher in OHL standard rink, most fans (and many friends) don’t attend games due to arena. By the way, maybe you should talk to people around the arena to get a feel (or as you say truth) of what the feeling about Bud is. We feel we have sufficient ground to support the claim of having Bud removed.
