I don't know how a team like the Majors absorbs the expenses of low crowd attendance. Majors still hold the league record for some of the lowest attendance figures ever. North Bay Centennial were sold by an owner who said their average of 1,900 per home game was not enough to keep operating. From what I've read, Majors would like to have such low numbers as that.
