Posted by Majors#1 on 8/18/2006, 11:24 am With the key departure in defense of Ryan Wilson & unlikely return of Scott Lehman, 116 points from the defense side is gone along with their tough defensive ability. Consider last year the team had their share of weakness in defense, defense can potentially be a problem this year. 3 of the team top 4 scorers are now gone without any significant replacement of equal caliber players. The team would be alright offensively if Justin DiBenedetto, Matt Halischuk & Matt Caria step up and hoping our 1st round CHL import draft pick will lift up to expectation while Justin Donati repeat his last year's play. This will be a much different team, especially now without the leadership, hard work & positive intengibles of Haskins. It will be a challenging season, and with a coach that is not best for coaching a rebuilding team, it will be very difficult for part of the season.

As pre-season is less than 3 wks away, and seems the off-season player changes have settled. It is clear to say that the Majors will have a very challenging season ahead of them.
