The 5,000 seat Bloor St. stadium is expected to be completed by the fall 2006. The regulation size field is the first phase of a possible $56 million complex. ------------------------------------------------- it would be no surprise to many should Melnyk pair up with u of t for a hockey arena ...... same as him getting a piece of land at woodbine racetrack for an arena........any such venture would be spare change for him ------------------------------------------------

I ran across this small blurb on page A27 of the Thursday June 30h edition of the Toronto Star.
(So do you think the Majors might be involved in the arena - remember that Globe and Mail article said they were looking at a few sites and hoping to have it ready for fall 2006...hmmm..I can dream cant I LOL)
