Ryan Penney (3 assists) continues to be impressive and a presence every time he's on the ice - he's plays like a hybrid of Franky Lukes and Colin Power. DB was strong and steady. Jeff Barletta and Matt Caria are marvelous additions. Cory's filling in nicely into Boycie's role and grounding this squad > he played D all game The Storm's '89s Doughty (2 goals + 1 assist) and Arniel are making an impact for/on their team. Doughty has the makings of an OHL all star - incredible poise for a 16 year old and excellent skating and puck handling skills. Another Storm '89, Salters (6'3", 200 lbs !), looked comfortable taking on Chris Cunningham. The Storm should have a very good season. The scoring was as follows: St. Mike's won the shootout in the first pass (3 shooters). Hi guys, 
. The game had flow and was pretty much even in terms of control and chances. Both teams missed golden opportunities down low. It's obvious some players are still lacking a (conditioning) step and even more lacking on their timing: 'one time' shots were routinely fanned and there were some blatant passing miscues. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable game and a nice respite from the mid-afternoon sun.
as Coach S is evaluating the forwards. Yada, yada, yada, not much more out of the ordinary. The first half of the game Mark Kubicz was in goal, and John Carnevale held down the fort for the latter half and shoot-out. No need for anyone to be overly concerned with the back-to-back losses to the Storm. Too many regulars missing.
